Material and Manufacturing Process
For this type of project, aluminum is a practical choice because it combines low weight, good machinability, and a clean finished appearance.
The manufacturing process starts with CNC milling from an aluminum block. Rough machining is first used to remove excess material, followed by finishing operations on the main surfaces, cavities, edges, and detailed features.
For designs with deeper cavities or more complex geometries, 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machining can be selected according to the part structure.
Custom Engraving and Surface Finishing
Engraving is an important part of a personalized trophy. Names, numbers, logos, or other customer-supplied graphics can be machined directly into the aluminum surface.
Different finishing methods can be used depending on the required appearance, including bead blasting, brushing, polishing, anodizing, and other customized surface treatments.
For polished areas, additional finishing work is required to achieve a smoother and more uniform appearance. Bead blasting can also be used to create a consistent matte texture and reduce visible machining marks.
Quality Control
Before shipment, the machined parts are inspected according to the customer's drawings and specifications.
Key inspection points can include overall dimensions, cavity dimensions, engraving position, hole locations, flatness, surface condition, and critical mating features.
For low-volume and customized production, we pay particular attention to consistency between individual parts, especially when several pieces share the same design.
CNC Manufacturing for Custom Products
This type of project demonstrates how CNC machining can turn a detailed product design into a finished aluminum component with both functional and visual requirements.
Jingcheng Dingyi supports custom CNC machining for prototypes, one-off parts, and low-volume production. Customers can send us 2D drawings or 3D CAD files for manufacturing evaluation and quotation.
